What Would You Do If You Truly Valued and Respected Yourself?

Here’s a question we don’t often ask ourselves: If I truly valued and respected myself, is this something I would do?

It’s powerful, isn’t it?

When was the last time you paused and thought about the choices you’re making—how you spend your time, the relationships you nurture, or even the way you speak to yourself?

If the answer is “not often,” you’re not alone. Life moves fast, and the easiest thing can be to forget to check in with the person who matters most: Ourselves.

But here’s the truth: the way we treat ourselves sets the tone for how we show up in the world. So, the next time you’re faced with a decision—big or small—ask yourself: Would I do this if I truly valued and respected myself?

Maybe it’s about saying no to something that drains your energy. Maybe it’s about letting go of a relationship that no longer feels good. Or maybe it’s simply about allowing yourself a moment to rest without guilt.

Which brings us to the second question: How do I want to show up in the world? Truly valuing and respecting yourself (Loving yourself) isn’t just about internal reflection; it’s also about taking some action.

So……How do you want others to experience you? Kind? Confident? Fully present and focused?

This is important because the way you treat yourself directly influences the energy you bring into every space you enter.

Interesting……. And becomes even more interesting when you understand that these questions aren’t about perfection—they’re about alignment. They’re about making choices that honour who you are and who you want to become.

So, take a moment today to reflect. If you truly valued, respected and loved yourself, what would you start doing? What would you stop? And how would it change the way you move through the world?

Start with one choice, one moment, one small shift. You’ll be amazed at how everything else begins to fall into place.
